In the context of human rights education, the students of our school Eginloglou Sotiria, Iliadou Maria and Papadopoulou Eva created the following video. The students studied and researched historical sources, visited places of remembrance, recited poems, played and sang Sephardic songs. They edited the video and also the subtitles.
Synopsis: “Puerta Redonda” was the name of the old Jewish Cemetery in Thessaloniki the history of which goes back in ancient times. In December 1942, the cemetery was vandalized, demolished and finally handed over to the Aristotle University as “a property abandoned by its owners”.
