The students of class Γ2 Ioannis Papafidis, Sami Sarsour-Serasidis, Maria papadaki and Eleni Trifonidou are participating in the ImagineEU video competition organised by the European Commission.

They are responding to the call on young Europeans in their last two years of secondary school to be active citizens in the EU by thinking of concrete ideas that can make the EU an even better place to live and that could benefit citizens across the European Union – similarly to the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI).

The students’ proposals are described in the video entitled Europe in Green https://citizens-initiative-forum.europa.eu/video-competition/europe-green_en. It is one of the 387 participations, and the public can log in the European Citizens’ Initiative Forum to watch and vote for the ones they like. Public voting is open until 28 January 2024. https://citizens-initiative-forum.europa.eu/video-competition_en

The three winning teams will win a study trip to Brussels, the heart of the European Union, from 21 to 23 March 2024.

As public votes will be one of the factors considered by a jury of ECI experts, our students need your support! Please log in and vote for their video!

We wish them the very best of luck!
